How to choose a glass curtain company on the Costa del Sol

To choose a glass curtain company in Spain, compare five things in writing: whether they manufacture or resell, which glass and hardware they fit, what the warranty covers and who honours it, whether the quote is itemised, and who will supply worn parts in five years. Two quotes at the same price can be very different enclosures.

How much do glass curtains cost in Spain?

On the Costa del Sol, what a set of frameless glass curtains costs depends on the glass thickness, the hardware, the dimensions of the opening and how easy the terrace is to reach. In 2026 they cost €140–€260 per m² installed, IVA (Spanish VAT) included, or €220–€400 per m² with laminated or solar-control glass. A typical 12 m² terrace comes to €1,680–€3,120.

Closing a porch for winter in Spain

To close a porch for winter on the Costa del Sol you need to stop wind and rain before you think about heating. The combination that works is glass on the sides and a proper roof above. Start in September: between the survey, community approval and made-to-measure manufacturing, a porch begun in November is usually finished after the winter it was meant for.
