Direct manufacturer and installer in Estepona
CostaGlass designs, makes and installs frameless glass curtains, bioclimatic pergolas, guillotine glass, ZIP screens, glass windbreaks and glass railings from its own workshop in Estepona. We have worked on the Costa del Sol since 2010 and completed more than 500 projects for homeowners, communities of owners and restaurant terraces, from Málaga to Sotogrande and Gibraltar.
Every system is made to measure and quoted after a free site survey. For indicative figures, our glass curtain cost guide has 2026 price ranges and totals by terrace size.
What we install
- Glass curtains
- Frameless tempered-glass panels that close the terrace against wind and rain and stack fully to one side in summer.
- Bioclimatic pergolas
- An adjustable aluminium louvre roof for shade or rain; with glass curtains on the sides it becomes a year-round room.
- Guillotine glass
- Motorised vertical glazing, tighter than curtains, popular for restaurants and viewpoints.
- ZIP screens
- Technical fabric held in zip side channels, so it shades and screens without flapping in the wind.
- Glass windbreaks
- Fixed glass panels that stop the wind without enclosing the terrace.
- Retractable roofs
- Tensioned technical fabric on an aluminium frame, manual or motorised.
Not sure which system fits your terrace? The guide to terrace enclosures in Spain compares them side by side.
Popular combinations on the coast
Penthouse with a view: frameless glass curtains on the front, with 10 mm or laminated glass where the Levante hits hardest, so the sea view stays clear and the terrace is usable from October to May.
Terrace or garden without a roof: a bioclimatic pergola with glass curtains on the exposed sides, which turns open space into a year-round outdoor room. See bioclimatic pergolas.
West-facing terrace: a ZIP screen outside the glass to stop the afternoon heat without losing the view.
Restaurant terrace: motorised guillotine glass on the front and glass windbreaks on the sides, so the team can open and close between services and keep the covers outdoors in winter.
Buying an enclosure in Spain, in English
Our team works in English and Spanish, so the survey, the quote, the paperwork for your community of owners and the aftercare all happen in your language, with no intermediary. You deal with the people who measure, build and fit your system.
Enclosing a terrace changes the façade, so in a building with a community of owners you will usually need the community's agreement, and your town hall may ask for a permit or a notification. Our guide to community permission in Andalusia explains the usual steps. Check with your community before you order.
Every installation carries a 10-year warranty, with parts and repairs from the same Estepona workshop.

03 Manufacture
Your system is made to measure in our Estepona workshop, not picked from a catalogue size.
04 Installation
Our own team fits it, usually without building work, with a 10-year warranty.
